Passionate Playground Kicks Off “Sexty” Super Bowl LX With the Limited-Edition “Hawxboxx”

Seattle Fans Score Big and Bring the Boom into the Bedroom

SEATTLE, WA — Seattle-based intimacy brand Passionate Playground is kicking off Super Bowl LX celebrations with the launch of the limited-edition Hawxboxx, a special release of its award-winning Joyboxx® with Playtray®.

Inspired by the ground-shaking energy of Seattle football fans — famously known as the Legion of Boom — the Hawxboxx invites fans to bring that same excitement into the bedroom through safe, playful intimacy.

Research suggests major sporting events influence intimacy. A 2019 study published in Early Human Development identified statistical shifts in birth patterns nine months after Super Bowl celebrations — a phenomenon researchers associate with increased sexual activity during periods of heightened excitement and social connection.

Joyboxx® was invented by Deborah Semer, a Seattle-based nonprofit leader who co-founded a national charity in 2007 with former Seahawk Kerry Carter to support amputee soldiers.

“The Hawxboxx is not affiliated with or endorsed by any professional football team,” said Semer. “It’s my tribute to our incredible team, our fans, and safe, joyful play.”

These were manufactured a locally a few years ago, at Sea-Lect Plastics in Everett, Washington. Each eco-friendly Joyboxx® is made from food-grade, BPA and phthalate-free polypropylene and is 100% recyclable.

The Hawxboxx is available in limited quantities in white, lime green, and blue, with select boxes featuring a silver finger-slide lock. Each box also comes with a full-size silicone or water-based lubricant and retails for $75, exclusively here joyboxx.love.

With Seattle fans everywhere rooting for the Seahawks, Passionate Playground supplies the safe play box so they can score — on and off the field.
